AWS DevOps Engineer (Commodities Trading)
As a leading player in the commodities trading space, they are looking for individuals who can leverage their expertise to build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS for commodities trading applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment in a regulated environment.
- Collaborate with trading teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of trading applications.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and industry best practices in the commodities trading space.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal DevOps standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions on AWS, preferably in the financial or commodities trading industry.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Understanding of networking, security, and compliance best practices in the financial services industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with serverless computing platforms like AWS Lambda.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Familiarity with commodities trading systems and data feeds.
