Our client is a leading global bank who are looking for a Senior, web-based C#/.NET developer to join their team providing IT development and delivery for the Commodities business, focusing on extending IT system functionality for Commodity OTC Products in the Pricing & Trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extend IT system functionality for Commodity OTC Products in the Pricing & Trading systems
  • Developing C# .Net & Web applications using latest frameworks
  • Assist 1st and 2nd line support it problem resolution.
  • Work closely with existing Dev Team who are based in the UK and Bulgaria
  • Work with other team members to deliver business value via Sprints.
  • Develop full-stack solutions – user interface, business logic, services and data layer.
  • Interact directly with Front Office when required.

Skills and Qualifications:

C# and .NET:

  • Proficiency in C# programming language and understanding of the .NET Framework and .NET 6+ ecosystem.

Web technologies:

  • Infrastructure: Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, SSL/TLS and related technologies such as proxies, firewalls, etc.
  • OpenID Connect and OAuth: Understanding of authentication and authorisation protocols for secure user authentication.
  • Back-end development: Knowledge of ASP.NET Core for building RESTful APIs and web applications.
  • Front-end development: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, React and NodeJS knowledge would be a bonus.
  • SignalR: Familiarity with real-time communication using SignalR.

Cloud technologies: Some exposure to Azure cloud technologies, primarily Redis, SignalR and Entra ID.

Database management: Proficiency in SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server) and Entity Framework Core for data access.
