DevOps Engineer – Sandton
In this exciting role, you’ll be instrumental in driving innovation and efficiency through DevOps practices. You’ll leverage your expertise in AWS and a range of cutting-edge technologies to automate deployments, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and ensure robust infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation (Cfn) templates and AWS CDK.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible.
- Script automation tasks using Python.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools like CodeDeploy, Lambda, Step Functions, and ECS.
- Design and implement containerization strategies using Kubernetes.
- Configure and manage strong network and security controls within the AWS environment.
- Collaborate with developers, traders, and security teams to deliver solutions and ensure a high level of service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
- Expertise in CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with AWS DevOps tools (CodeDeploy, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS).
- Experience with containerisation technologies (ideally Kubernetes).
- Strong network and security knowledge on AWS.
