Our client, a global commodity trading company, is seeking a Back Office Delivery Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Technical Lead to oversee BAU activities, minor enhancements, project implementations, and support the transition to a new platform
What you’ll do:
- Manage and mentor a team of BAs and QAs, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
- Implement and optimize Agile practices to streamline workflow and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Maintain, prioritise, and refine the backlog in alignment with business objectives, ensuring timely and efficient task completion.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify and resolve obstacles that may impact delivery timelines, ensuring continuous and effective execution.
- Lead planning and estimation activities to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal resource allocation.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and drive project success.
- Assist in the transition to the new platform while minimising disruptions to ongoing operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, team leadership, or product ownership.
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including experience managing Kanban boards.
- Proficient in backlog management with the ability to prioritise and deliver tasks efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
- Experience in planning, estimation, and managing project deliveries.
- Knowledge of the commodities trading industry is an advantage.
