Database SME – Long Term Outside IR35 Contract – Remote

We’re looking for an experienced Database SME to lead operations for a managed service assessment and ongoing service delivery. This role is pivotal in driving the stability, performance, and observability of a large-scale SQL Server and MySQL estate.

You’ll take ownership of health checks, tuning, monitoring validation, compliance reporting, and incident support, all while aligning with broader governance and operational goals. From proactive housekeeping to root cause analysis, your expertise will ensure the environment runs cleanly, predictably, and efficiently.

Collaborate closely with infrastructure and monitoring teams, contribute to service transition, and represent database health in governance forums.
