Our client, a leading player in the commodity trading sector, is seeking a Hosting Engineer to join their high-performing infrastructure team. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive automation and operational excellence within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

About the Role:
You’ll be instrumental in managing and automating a complex infrastructure estate, supporting business-critical trading systems. This hands-on role is ideal for a DevOps-focused engineer with strong infrastructure experience and a passion for Infrastructure as Code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate infrastructure management (Cisco UCS, Storage, Virtualisation, Linux) using Ansible, Terraform, and GitHub

• Support Kubernetes and containerised environments, including Tanzu

• Work collaboratively across technology and business teams to deliver robust solutions

• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement

• Promote DevOps best practices and infrastructure automation

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in DevOps and infrastructure automation

• Strong expertise with Ansible, Terraform, Git, and GitHub

• Proficient in VMware, Cisco UCS, storage platforms, and RHEL administration

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Desirable: experience with Tanzu, PureStorage, CommVault, and ITIL
