Hosting Engineer – DevOps & Infrastructure
Location: London | Full-Time | Hybrid Work Model

A leading organisation is seeking a hosting engineer to join its high-performing infrastructure team. This is a hands-on DevOps role focused on automation, infrastructure-as-code, and operational excellence across a complex enterprise estate.

What you’ll do:

• Automate infrastructure management using Ansible, Terraform, and GitHub

• Manage and maintain infrastructure platforms including Cisco UCS, VMware vSphere, Linux, and enterprise storage

• Operate and support Kubernetes environments (experience with Tanzu preferred)

• Lead root cause analysis, incident response, and platform improvements

• Define and enforce administration standards and best practices

• Collaborate across engineering and business teams to align on delivery goals

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure engineering

• Strong scripting and automation experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Git

• Solid experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL 7-9) and Windows Server (2019/2022)

• Hands-on expertise in Cisco UCS/MDS, PureStorage, and CommVault

• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, containerisation, and hybrid cloud (preferably Azure)

• Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewalls, switching, routing)

• Previous exposure to ITIL frameworks and project delivery environments
