Our client is a leading energy trading firm, and they are looking for a .NET Developer to support energy trading systems development. This role involves building high-quality, scalable software to meet front, middle, and back-office needs while championing Agile and DevOps methodologies. The position is based in London, requiring three office days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of Risk and Valuation systems.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Ensure adherence to design principles and refactor components where necessary.
• Deliver high-quality development work on time and within standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and version control.
• Ensure compliance with security and company procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in .NET development (WCF, .NET Framework) and SQL.
• Proficiency with messaging services (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
• Expertise in API development and integration.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud development and Databricks.
• Front-end experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte).
• Background in financial services, banking, or commodity trading.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and SDLC processes.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
