About the Role

As a Principal Consultant at Cititec Talent, you’ll play a key role in our growth by building long-term client relationships and delivering exceptional talent, positioning us as the go-to tech recruitment partner for commodities trading and fintech.

Along the way, you’ll mentor and guide junior consultants, contributing to both your own success and the team’s growth. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape the future of recruitment in high-impact sectors, collaborate with passionate industry experts, and make a real impact. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to secure new clients within the commodities trading and fintech space.
  • Leverage your specialist knowledge to source and attract the best talent within your chosen technical vertical, whether in data, development or a specific programming language.
  • Use a variety of sourcing methods to build robust talent pipelines.
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor by actively engaging in thought leadership and sharing insightful industry trends.
  • Host/participate in events to further solidify our position as a leading tech recruitment partner.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise on sourcing and market trends.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least four years of experience in 360 tech recruitment, with a proven track record of building and scaling a successful desk within the commodities or fintech sectors.
  • Strong business development skills, with a clear focus on driving revenue growth and consistently exceeding billing targets.
  • Experienced recruiting for major global hubs, including London, New York, Boston, Houston, Switzerland, and Singapore.
  • Recognised as a thought leader by actively engaging on LinkedIn and contributing to the industry through content creation, events, and market insights.
