Cloud Architect – AO/IO Governance
Hybrid – 4 days in Bournemouth office
Up to £700 per day (Inside IR35)
Role Overview:
The Public Cloud Engineering Team’s AO/IO/Governance and Architecture Specialist will be responsible for managing and enhancing application owner (AO), information owner (IO), and governance activities related to Azure-based systems. This role will ensure alignment with business objectives, maintain architecture standards, and support strategic initiatives. The specialist will also handle the increased workload expected with the introduction of key deliverables such as managing the Permit to Operate process for critical platform release phases.
Platform Management & Governance:
Oversee platform management and governance activities, ensuring compliance with architecture standards and business objectives.
Manage communications related to application owner (AO) and information owner (IO).
Review and validate chosen architecture to ensure it meets desired availability and performance characteristics.
Strategic Initiatives Support:
Support strategic initiatives by providing architectural guidance and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with the JPMC environment.
Workload Management:
Manage increased workload due to Permit to Operate activities.
Implement processes to handle new infrastructure and regulatory changes, especially with the upcoming Azure General Availability (GA).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Azure cloud services and architecture.
Experience with platform management and cloud governance.
Knowledge of Architecture standards and best practices.
Knowledge of Engineering standards and best practices.
Familiarity with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
