Forward Deployed Engineer/AI Engineer | London | Global Commodities Trading
I’m working with a leading global commodities trading firm that is investing heavily in AI, engineering and digital transformation. They’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between technology and the business, taking innovative ideas from prototype through to production.
This is a hands on role where you’ll work directly with front office users, building production grade applications, AI powered workflows and bespoke integrations that solve real business problems.
You’ll need experience with:
- Python and modern full stack development (React and Node.js)
- AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- APIs, data pipelines and PostgreSQL
- AI technologies including LLMs, RAG and agentic workflows
- Taking applications from proof of concept through to production
- Working closely with business stakeholders in complex enterprise environments

London based with a hybrid working model, initial 6 months Outside IR35 contract.
