We are working with a fast-scaling AI infrastructure / GPU cloud company looking to hire a Head / VP of Data Centers.
This is a senior leadership role focused on data centre strategy, development, construction, delivery and operational readiness across high-density environments supporting GPU and HPC workloads.
The role will sit close to the leadership team and will be responsible for helping shape how the company scales its data centre footprint, vendor ecosystem and delivery capability.
Key responsibilities:
– Lead data centre strategy across development, construction, retrofit and expansion projects
– Work closely with leadership on site selection, delivery planning and infrastructure strategy
– Build and manage relationships with Tier-1 data centre OEMs across electrical, mechanical, power and cooling
– Leverage existing relationships with general contractors, MEP subcontractors and commissioning partners
– Support high-density GPU / HPC infrastructure deployment across mission-critical environments
– Drive cost, speed and delivery improvements across data centre programmes
– Help build scalable internal processes across data centre development, construction and operations
The ideal profile:
– Strong experience in hyperscale data centre development, construction or major retrofit projects
– Proven background delivering large-scale mission-critical data centre environments
– Deep network across OEMs, general contractors, MEP subcontractors and commissioning partners
– Strong understanding of power, cooling, electrical and mechanical infrastructure
– Experience working in fast-moving, high-growth infrastructure environments
– Commercially sharp, delivery-focused and comfortable advising senior leadership
