The Role
We are partnered with a leading Energy Trading firm who are looking to expand their Market Risk Team. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for helping build new Risk Management strategies and play a fundamental role in working with the Front Office / Trading Team to develop these Front end Strategies.
This mandate will be to focus on the European Energy markets. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to get into a fast-paced and risk driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- 5+ years’ experience with a Sales/Trading environment
- 5+ years’ experience within the Energy space
- Proven ability to develop and execute diversified risk deployment strategies
- Ideally experience across Physical and Derivatives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge and practical application of fundamentals in Energy markets
- High level of intellectual curiosity
