C#/Full Stack Developer
Mid-Senior Level
Commodities and Energy Trading
2-3 days in office (London)
£500/day inside IR35
Cititec Talent is working with a key client in the Energy Marketing and Trading space, and are looking for a mid-senior developer (C#/.NET) to join their team supporting the energy trading systems development activities. This role will involve creating solutions tailored to the needs of their energy and marketing business, while championing Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of Risk and Valuation systems
- Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to design principles and facilitate component refactoring
- Maintain clear, testable, and accurate technical requirements
- Deliver high-quality solutions within specified timeframes and standards
- Implement robust change control procedures and version control mechanisms
- Ensure compliance with security policies and statutory procedures
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of .NET (C#) and SQL development experience
- Experience with Javascript/Angular/React
- Proficiency in API creation and utilization
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for deployment
- Knowledge of Azure cloud development and Azure Databricks
- Proven track record in large-scale, distributed platform development
- Background in banking, financial services, or commodity trading
- Motivated with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Full SDLC proficiency, including analysis, coding, testing, and release management
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Eagerness to explore and adopt new languages, technologies, and tools
