Cititec Talent is looking for a Mid-Senior Developer, who will support the Programme Manager in developing energy trading systems and delivering solutions. You will develop high-quality, high-performing software and ensure timely completion within budget and standards. You will address front, middle, and back-office requirements through a deep understanding of the energy trading lifecycle while championing Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of Risk and Valuation systems.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners.
• Undertake development work, ensuring adherence to design principles and refactoring components where possible.
• Ensure technical requirements are clear, aligned, testable, accurate, and maintained.
• Complete development deliverables on time and to a high standard, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and supportable.
• Follow change control procedures, version control, and configuration management to protect production services.
• Report progress on systems development projects, addressing issues and escalating as needed.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, including security policies.
• Contribute to retrospectives and incorporate learnings into future work.
• Maintain an understanding of industry trends and current technology.

Requirements:

• Strong development experience in enterprise applications using .NET tools (C#) and SQL (4+ years).
• Excellent experience in creating and working with APIs.
• Deployment experience using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud development and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Demonstrated high-quality design and development skills for large, distributed platforms.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or commodity trading environments.
