Murex Application Architect | Up to £150,000 | London

The role:
Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading investment bank, who are looking to bring a Murex Application Architect into their team on a permanent basis. You will be primarily responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, documenting, reviewing and approving solutions for the Murex platform to cater for the various business and technical requirements.
What you’ll do:
Requirement gathering and impact analysis for change requests, projects and new product
developments
Development and support for change requests, projects and new product developments through
the development lifecycle
Collaborate with developers to ensure solutions are suitable, practical and appropriate.
Documentation of solutions
Document, maintain and promote best practice Murex design patterns
Act as a functional design authority ensuring Murex design patterns are followed and exceptions
managed
Requirements:
Experience working within a Murex technology team
Experience in a Murex Front Office environment
Hands on and broad system-wide Murex experience/knowledge is essential
Strong experience in at least 5 of the following Murex functional modules: Reporting, Post trade
workflows, Pre trade workflows, Front Office, GOM, Static Data, Market Data, Accounting, MRB/
MRA, RTBS.
Strong understanding of the technical Murex system architecture
Previous design focused experience
Murex CI/CD experience preferable
Technical skills: Java, Groovy, shell scripting, REST APIs, XML/XLST, SQL, Excel
