Power BI Developer
Location: London
We have partnered exclusively with a globally recognised commodity trading company, based in London. Join their team based in London, focused on energy trading (oil and gas). As a Power BI Developer, you’ll play a hands-on role in developing and supporting IT applications and infrastructure for a fast-paced, international commodity trading business.
This role requires 2-3 days a week in the office.
Ideal experience:
- Experience with the design, development, and optimisation of advanced BI dashboards and reports.
- Extensive PowerBI experience (3-5 years).
- Previous experience in trading is ideal.
- In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (extract, transform, load) frameworks.
Solid experience with SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - Python scripting experience.
- Experience in using Power BI with JSON data sources and files.
About the role:
- Create operational and functional reporting dashboards.
- Construct automated reports and dashboards utilising Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Rapidly transform data into reporting and analytics solutions with appropriate visualisations.
- Improve existing data sources, reports, and dashboards.
- Work alongside a team of developers, project managers, and QA teams.
