Python Developer – Middle and Back Office
Cititec Talent are currently working with a global commodities trading company that has been a pioneer in the industry and has grown from a boutique player to a top 5 powerhouse. They are looking for a skilled Python Developer who will join the middle and back office and will play a critical role in the firm’s technological evolution.
As a Python Developer, you will be spearheading new development projects across middle and back office operations, leveraging strong software engineering principles to drive innovation and efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have the majority of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years software development experience.
- Expertise in Python programming.
- Data analysis & data manipulation using Pandas.
- Strong proficiency in FAST APIs for building APIs & SQL Alchmy for database interactions.
- Strong experience in cloud-based development (AWS).
- Proficiency with both Docker & Kubernetes for containerisation & orchestration.
- Experience working in Commodities, Trading or Financial Services markets.
- Experience in implementing solid software engineering practice
