Rust Engineer

Salary: Up to £120,000 base salary
The Role:
We’re excited to have partnered with an organisation that are making serious headway as leaders within modern trade promotion management (TPM) solutions developed by and for packaged goods.
They are looking for a self-motivated individual who is capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a Rust Engineer, you will lead in the building and maintaining of Rust-based components invaluable to the platform’s success. You will also be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring excellent code quality and performance.
The ideal candidate should have the majority of the following:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience building scalable code in Rust
- Proficiency in Rust programming & an understanding of its ecosystem
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Performance profiling & optimization of Rust code
- Strong communication & collaboration skills
Nice to haves:
- Experience with React & Python, with the ability to contribute effectively to these codebases
- Modern software development practices, version control, & CI/CD pipelines
