The role
Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading e-commerce retailer who are looking for a Senior Principal Product Manager. As part of the Transactions organization, owning customer premises from Cart to Returns and Refund, you shape a core value proposition by solving one of our complex problem statements where you implement approaches that create win-win-win frameworks for our customers and partners. For our 50m customers you build seamless returns and refunds experiences, for our several thousand partners you provide opportunities to integrate into our returns and refunds proposition, and as a result creating economic value-add.

What you’ll do

• Define the long-term product vision and strategy through customer obsession for our returns and refunds experiences
• Execute against that vision leveraging scalable frameworks for data-informed decision-making to resolve multi-facetted trade-offs
• Apply state-of-the art product craft, being customer obsessed working backwards from a target experience where you size bets applying opportunity cost models
• Work in a cross-functional and dynamic team set-up, collaborating with senior leadership.
• Raise the bar and provide thought leadership for the Transactions product organization and contribute to the wider Product Management organization
• Define KPI frameworks and insights generation at scale (incl. experimentation) to shape our product roadmap and maximize the commercial value generated

Requirements

• Visionary product leader collaborating well in a cross-functional team set-up with multiple years experience within product management
• Extensive experience in transforming customer needs into technology products at scale (from idea generation to solution design and implementation/execution) gained in a highly technical environment
• Quantitative thought leader with a strong understanding of product methods and tools as well as statistical/analytical approaches
• Strong team player and collaborator who can excite others to contribute to innovate and improve our value proposition and key customer experience
• Ability to transform distributed information into written narratives to inform decision-making paired with bar-raising storytelling capabilities
• Excellent verbal communication to large and diverse audiences, up to the executive team
