Storage Expert – 6 months Contract – 600£/d outside IR35 – Remote – UK
Our Client is a company specializing in consulting on Cloud technology, with expertise in high-performance computing, cloud security, and cloud migration. They are looking for a skilled Storage Expert to deploy and manage software installations and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and documentation of complex storage software installations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage software with existing infrastructure.
- Design and implement storage solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises infrastructure with AWS cloud storage services
- Design and implement storage software configurations to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in storage technologies such as SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), and DAS (Direct Attached Storage).
- Experience with storage protocols and standards
- Knowledge of storage virtualization and cloud storage solutions
- Familiarity with storage array terminology and a comprehensive understanding of related issues.
- Experience with Quantum toolset installation and usage is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
- Relevant certifications in storage technologies are a plus.
