Technical Business Analyst
Fully remote (must be UK based)
£450 inside IR35
In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the migration of a legacy fax system to the cloud. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across various departments to understand current functionalities and identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements for the cloud migration of the bank’s fax system.
- Analyse the existing fax infrastructure, including back-end integrations (NSS) and regional variations.
- Identify and document pain points associated with the current system, such as manual processes, ageing hardware, and integration complexity.
- Develop a comprehensive migration plan that considers data sovereignty regulations, security requirements, and minimal disruption to existing integrations.
- Lead and participate in meetings with stakeholders across various departments (Telecom, Security, Tech, Data Sovereignty, Office 365).
- Document findings and recommendations in clear and concise reports.
- Develop short-term and long-term plans for the migrated system, including potential adoption of digital signature technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical role.
- Experience with cloud migration projects and complex system integrations (within Fax or telephony).
- Experience within the financial services industry, particularly with bank fax usage, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
